Let's Save Science!

My personal view of science today - namely, as it is done in academia - is that it is riddled with inefficiencies, bits of quasi-corruption, and a general divergence from what science really stands for, which, in my humble opinion, should be the pursuit of knowledge aimed at improving our societies and daily lives. I originally took a stand against the current state of things by publicly resigning from my PhD program in 2013. As a result, I've had the pleasure of learning a lot of new things and interacting with a lot of new people, and so I've decided to dedicate this page to the different efforts to improve the current scientific system that I'm aware of and that I support. Yes, I myself am still an active scientist despite being PhD-less.
