ئۆز as the Adjective "Own"

«سۈپەت رولىدا كېلىدىغان «ئۆز

In certain expressions, the word ئۆز may also appear without any possessive suffixes, where it acts as an adjective in a manner analogous to the English "own". Some such expressions with clear English analogues are "(one's) own hands" and "(one's) own eyes".

I saw him with my own eyes.
.مەن ئۇنى ئۆز كۆزۈم بىلەن كۆردۈم

I built this house with my own hands.
.مەن بۇ ئۆينى ئۆز قولۇم بىلەن سالدىم

If you only associate with your own kind, your mind will never expand.
.ئەگەر پەقەت ئۆز خىلىڭىز بىلەن ئارىلاشسىڭىز، خىيالىڭىز ھەرگىز كېڭەيمەيدۇ
