The Adjective-to-Verb Derivation Suffix ار|ەر|ر

سۈپەتتىن پېئىل ياسايدىغان «ار|ەر|ر» ئارقا قوشۇمچىسى

As a word-formation suffix, ار|ەر|ر may be added to a very small number of adjectives to form verbs that carry the meaning of "to become/acquire [that adjective]". These are countable with the fingers on your hand and are basically as follows:

short + [to become] = to become short(er)
قىسقا + ر = قىسقار ـ

white + [to become] = to turn white
ئاق + ار = ئاقار ـ

young + [to become] = to become young
ياش + ار = ياشار ـ

green + [to become] = to turn green
كۆك + ەر = كۆكەر ـ
