The Verb-to-Adjective Derivation Suffix ق|ك|اق|ەك|ىق|ىك|ۇق|ۈك

پېئىلدىن سۈپەت ياسايدىغان «ق|ك|اق|ەك|ىق|ىك|ۇق|ۈك» ئارقا قوشۇمچىسى

In addition to forming nouns, the suffix set ق|ك|اق|ەك|ىق|ىك|ۇق|ۈك may attach to a limited number of verb stems to form adjectives that are related to the verb.

to exceed + [verb-to-adjective] = excess, surplus
ئارت ـ + ۇق = ئارتۇق

to fill + [verb-to-adjective] = full
تول ـ + ۇق = تولۇق

to heat up + [verb-to-adjective] = hot
 
ئىسسى ـ + ق = ئىسسىق
قىزى ـ + ق = قىزىق

to soften up + [verb-to-adjective] = soft
يۇمشا ـ + ق = يۇمشاق

to break + [verb-to-adjective] = broken
بۇز ـ + ۇق = بۇزۇق

to filter + [verb-to-adjective] = clear, transparent
سۈز ـ + ۈك = سۈزۈك

to rot + [verb-to-adjective] = rotten
سېسى ـ + ق = سېسىق

to boil + [verb-to-adjective] = boiled
قاينا ـ + ق = قايناق

to dry + [verb-to-adjective] = dry
قۇرۇ ـ + ق = قۇرۇق

to settle, to reside + [verb-to-adjective] = settled, residential
ئولتۇر ـ + اق = ئولتۇراق

to break, to snap + [verb-to-adjective] = broken, snapped
ئۈز ـ + ۈك = ئۈزۈك

to become sharp + [verb-to-adjective] = sharp
ئىتتى ـ + ك = ئىتتىك

to warm up + [verb-to-adjective] = warm
ئىللى ـ + ق = ئىللىق

to dawn, to brighten + [verb-to-adjective] = bright
يورۇ ـ + ق = يورۇق

to roll + [verb-to-adjective] = round
يۇمىلا ـ + ق = يۇمىلاق

to shine + [verb-to-adjective] = shining
پارقىرا ـ + ق = پارقىراق

to shine brightly + [verb-to-adjective] = brilliant
پارلا ـ + ق = پارلاق

to spread out + [verb-to-adjective] = spread out
تارقا ـ + ق = تارقاق

to become alert + [verb-to-adjective] = alert
سەگە ـ + ك = سەگەك

to stretch + [verb-to-adjective] = stretched, extended
سوز ـ + ۇق = سوزۇق

to break + [verb-to-adjective] = broken
سۇن ـ + ۇق = سۇنۇق

to rub, to stroke + [verb-to-adjective] = smooth
سىلى ـ + ق = سىلىق

to burn + [verb-to-adjective] = burnt
كۆي ـ + ۈك = كۆيۈك

Musa is a really interesting guy.
.مۇساجان بىر قىزىقلا ئادەم

Not only is this hat in style, but it's really warm as well.
.بۇ قۇلاقچا مودا بولۇپلا قالماي، يەنە ناھايىتى ئىسسىق

The distance between Kashgar and Urumqi is over a thousand kilometers.
.قەشقەر بىلەن ئۈرۈمچىنىڭ ئارىلىقى بىر مىڭ كىلومېتردىن ئارتۇق

Open the faucet and see if the hot water's back.
.جۈمەكنى ئېچىپ بېقىڭ، ئىسسىق سۇ كەلدىمىكىن

If even she can't get a perfect score on the exam, then how will you be able to?
ئۇ ئىمتىھاندىن تولۇق نومۇر ئالالمايدۇيۇ، سەن قانداق ئالالايسەن؟

As in the verb-to-noun derivation case, the raising and reduction rules do not appear to be consistent. For example:

to be left + [verb-to-adjective] = backwards, behind the times
قال ـ + اق = قالاق

to close + [verb-to-adjective] = closed
ياپ ـ + ىق = يېپىق
