The Verb-to-Adjective Derivation Suffix سىز

The suffix سىز can also be added to a short list of verbs following the addition of the desire-expressing suffix غۇ|گۈ|قۇ|كۈ to make adjectives that carry the meaning of "impossible to [that verb]". The English analogue is "in/un + [verb] + able".

to endure, to bear + [desire form] + [antonym] = unbearable
چىدا ـ + غۇ + سىز = چىدىغۇسىز

to speak + [desire form] + [antonym] = unspeakable
ئېيت ـ + قۇ + سىز = ئېيتقۇسىز

to forgive + [desire form] + [antonym] = unforgivable
كەچۈر ـ + گۈ + سىز = كەچۈرگۈسىز

to conclude, to terminate + [desire form] + [antonym] = interminable
تۈگەت ـ + كۈ + سىز = تۈگەتكۈسىز

A singular derivation also takes place through the imperfect suffix ار|ەر being added to the verb يەت ـ. This may be seen as the converse to the analogous derivation with the suffix لىق|لىك|لۇق|لۈك.

to be sufficient + [imperfect form] + [antonym] = insufficient
يەت ـ + ەر + سىز = يېتەرسىز ≠ يېتەرلىك
